Position: Financial Controller
Job Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional controller duties as necessary
- Monitoring internal controls.
- Managing financial transactions.
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
- Developing plans for financial growth.
- Evaluating and managing risk.
- Coordinating audit processes.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances based on the analysis
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Requirement and Skills:
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- CA or MBA in accounting or finance with Minimum 10+ years’ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Extensive understanding of Indian Taxation
- Extensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager/ Controller.
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
- Candidate should have mandatory SAP accounting knowledge.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent computer skills – MS Office
Remuneration: Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate to qualification, educational background and experience.
