FSTC Defence
The Aerospace and Defence sector in India is up for modernisation and indigenisation under ‘Make
in India’ (i.e., Aatmanirbhar Bharat) and MoD has already rolled out a positive indigenisation list in
this regard. The defence simulators are supposed to be an important part of this indigenisation
the process to replace obsolete equipment and upgrade long-term capability for in-house design and
development of simulators of various defence fleet types.
FSTC has the vision to offer niche indigenous equipment and products at economical costs to Indian
Armed Forces and export to friendly foreign countries. We have defined key objectives that will be
accomplished through FSTC Defence venture as enlisted:
- Research & Development
- Design, Prototyping and Flight Testing
- Aircraft IOC and FOC Procedures
- Retention of Intellectual IPR, Registration of Trade Mark and TOT
- Manufacturing Set Up for employment generation in the field of Aerospace Sector
Towards this effort, FSTC has already entered into a technical collaboration agreement with a
seasoned Flight Simulator manufacturer. This technical collaboration will enable FSTC to transfer
Technology with respect to design, development, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning of
the Full Flight Simulators.
