Capt. Hemant Yeshwant Samant has experience of over 20 years in aviation industry. Capt. Samant has worked with Indian Airlines and Air India. Capt. Samant has flown HS 748, B 737, A300 and A330. He has accumulated a total of 23500flying hours. He held the posts of Chief Flight Operations Inspector, DGCA post UPSC Cadre (2007-2010), Chief of Safety – Air India by DGCA -2013. He had retired as Executive Director in 2014 from Air India.
CAPT. GK BAGAI
Deputy Head of Training (DGCA)
Started aviation career in the Indian Air Force. After 1971 operations joined Air India on deputation and did the first rating on B-707. Subsequently was rated on A-300, B-743 and B-744. Also he was TRI/TRE on all the mentioned aircrafts. He also rose to the rank of General Manager Flight Ops in Air India. In 1998, he joined Singapore Airlines and was rated on B-777. He was appointed as Line Instructor on B-777 in SIA. After retirement from line flying, he was appointed SFI on B-777 and trained for 11 years. Now appointed Chief Instructor in FSTC and SFI on B-737.
Capt. BS Yadav
SFI (B737)
Started his career as an Indian Air Force Fighter pilot in 1969 and took premature retirement in 1994.
Joined commercial flying in 1994 as a line pilot on B737 with Modiluft Airline. Subsequently flew for Taneja Aerospace, Sahara Airlines and Jetlite Ltd. Capt. Yadav has a total flying experience of over 18000 hrs and retired as a DGCA check pilot from Jetlite Ltd. He joined FSTC as an SFI On B737 in 2013. He has over 8000 instructional hrs.
Capt. Gaurav gupta
SFI (B737)
Capt. Gupta is a Science Graduate who started his career as a pilot with Jet Airways in 2005. Capt. Gupta took premature retirement in the year 2017 and his last position was a Senior Commander on B737 with Jet Airways.
Capt. Gupta has approx. 7000 hrs of flying experience. He has joined FSTC as an SFI on B737 in the year 2017
Capt. M Bhandari
SFI (A320)
Served in the flying branch of Indian Air Force till 2007. Thereafter, joined commercial flying and spent 5 yrs with Air India Express. Subsequently joined SpiceJet in 2012 as a Line Captain and flew till retirement (2016).
Capt. Bhandari has a total of 9000 hrs of flying experience. Has an Incident/Accident free Flight Safety Record. Joined FSTC in 2016 as SFI on B737.
