CAPT. HEMANT YESHWANT SAMANT

Capt. Hemant Yeshwant Samant has experience of over 20 years in aviation industry. Capt. Samant has worked with Indian Airlines and Air India. Capt. Samant has flown HS 748, B 737, A300 and A330. He has accumulated a total of 23500flying hours. He held the posts of Chief Flight Operations Inspector, DGCA post UPSC Cadre (2007-2010), Chief of Safety – Air India by DGCA -2013. He had retired as Executive Director in 2014 from Air India.

Deputy Head of Training (DGCA)
Started aviation career in the Indian Air Force. After 1971 operations joined Air India on deputation and did the first rating on B-707. Subsequently was rated on A-300, B-743 and B-744. Also he was TRI/TRE on all the mentioned aircrafts. He also rose to the rank of General Manager Flight Ops in Air India. In 1998, he joined Singapore Airlines and was rated on B-777. He was appointed as Line Instructor on B-777 in SIA. After retirement from line flying, he was appointed SFI on B-777 and trained for 11 years. Now appointed Chief Instructor in FSTC and SFI on B-737.
VIVEK MAINALI
Ground Instructor
He has completed his B-tech graduation into Aerospace and Avionics from Amity University. He has been part of the organization since 2016 and is a qualified ground instructor on ATR 72-500 and Dash8 Q400.
Before joining FSTC, he has worked as Assistant professor in School of Aeronautics, Neemrana, Rajasthan.
