Position: Assistant/General Manager - Simulator Maintenance
Job Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
- Will be overall in charge of Simulator Maintenance, Facility Management and IT Department for the specified facility
- Periodically, review maintenance processes to ensure that all maintenance activities are in line with Quality System and are efficiently implemented.
- Periodically peruse maintenance related documents and ensure compliance to all regulatory and Quality System requirements.
- Peruse snags details to ascertain root cause of repeated issues and initiate remedial measures.
- Carry out safety risk assessment for hazard identification and take suitable measures for its mitigation.
- Ensure adequate expertise and technically qualified personnel are available for undertaking activities in the simulator facility.
- Ensure all requisite resources such as finance, technical, organizational, infrastructure, tools, equipment etc are available to achieve desired quality of services.
- Ensure human factors are given due consideration.
- Ensure availability of adequate spares resources and its efficient / economical utilization.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodically review to ensure that expenditures are under control.
- Promote communication access without hierarchical barriers to obtain feedback and initiate necessary action for improvement of processes.
- Develop and apply policies and procedures to ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices
- Act as advisor and guide to the Simulator maintenance team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
- Prepare reports on reliability of various devices and present to management on fortnightly basis
- Responsible for Manpower planning & execution to maintain optimum work force.
Requirement and Skills:
- B.E/B.Tech from a recognised University (Electronics and communication Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- A fundamental understanding of the simulator's components, systems, and how they function. This includes knowledge of the simulator's hardware, software, and any associated technologies.
- Ability to diagnose and address common technical issues that may arise during simulator operation. This includes identifying and fixing issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Proficiency in performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, calibration, and basic repairs to keep the simulators operational and accurate.
- Awareness of safety protocols and procedures while working with simulators and related equipment to ensure the well-being of users and maintenance staff.
- Basic communication skills to convey simple technical concepts and report issues to higher-level technical staff or management.
- Capability to maintain basic records of maintenance activities, issues encountered, and actions taken for future reference.
- Ability to work as part of a team, taking instructions management, and collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of simulators.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in simulator technology and maintenance procedures.
