Command Upgrade Courses

• This course is designed for pilots who have completed the pre-requisites laid down by DGCA /Airlines to upgrade from Co-Pilot to Command post.

  Course Content:

  • Ground Classes:  ~63 hrs
  • 9 FFS sessions:  34 hrs
  • 2 FFS Check sessions:  04 hrs

  Requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Copy of valid Passport

Extended Refresher/Recurrent Training Courses

• Recurrent training is conducted to ensure the maintenance of competencies, knowledge and skills through a series of theoretical training, hands-on exercises, written exam, etc. relevant to the respective aircraft type.

  Course Content
  A. More than 90 days to 6 Months

  • Technical & Performance Refresher on Type Airplane.
  • 01 FFS Training session OR IR/PPC (If Due)

  B. More than 06 Months to 12 Months

  • Extended Technical & Performance Refresher on Type Aeroplane.
  • 02 FFS Training sessions OR 01 FFS Training session and IR/PPC (If Due)

  C. More than 12 Months to 24 Months

  • Extended Technical & Performance Refresher on Type Aeroplane.
  • 04 FFS Training sessions
  • IR/PPC on FFS or Aeroplane

  D. More than 24 Months to 36 Months

  • Extended Technical & Performance Refresher on Aeroplane.
  • 06 FFS Training sessions
  • IR/PPC on FFS or Aeroplane

  E. More than 36 Months

  • Full Type Rating
