Position: Manager - Finance

Job Location: Gurgaon

  • Role Summary

The role holder’s main responsibility is to administer financial operations and to ensure financial compliance. The incumbent will also be responsible for management accounting, and reports submitted to directors and other management stakeholders

 

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments for the company
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances based on the analysis
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
  • Supervises the work of employees responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll and benefits processing and record keeping; supervises utility billing processes, payment processing and collections; supervises cash receipt and control of other types of remittances; reviews and approves monthly bank reconciliations

 

  • Requirement and Skills
    • MBA in accounting or finance
    • CA with Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance.
    • Extensive understanding of Indian Taxation
    • Extensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
    • Proven experience as a Financial Manager
    • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
    • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
    • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
    • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
    • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
    • Candidate should have SAP accounting knowledge
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
    • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Excellent computer skills – MS Office
